Freightliner Racing’s Tim Slade and Ash Walsh are all set for the biggest race of the year this weekend, the Bathurst 1000. This event is like no other, with drivers tackling Mount Panorama flat out for 1000kms! It is known as one of the best circuits in the world, for its elevation, corners, high speed straights and the incredible challenge that it provides drivers, teams and cars alike. Bathurst is one of those places where anything and everything can happen, and on race day… it does!

All sessions will be LIVE on FOX Sports across the weekend, plus coverage on Channel Ten/One HD. Check your local guides for times.

- The record for most cars on the lead lap at the end of a Bathurst 1000 is 19. It occurred in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Last year there were just 10 on the lead lap

- Tim has finished inside the top ten the last two years behind the wheel of the Freightliner Racing Commodore

- Both Tim Slade and Ash Walsh raced here in the 12-hour endurance race in February
