THE WORD FROM TIM
“It was nice to sit in the top ten for both practice sessions today and that result fast tracks the Freightliner Racing Commodore into the second qualifying session tomorrow.”
“The long practice sessions were good; the quick laps and minimal tyre degradation means you can make a lot of changes and make some good reads on what is going on.”
“It felt as though we lost a little bit of competitiveness as the track rubbered up between practice one and practice two. We’ve had the chance to debrief as a group already and we know what we need to improve so will work on making those changes overnight. Essentially, we need to work harder to improve our weaknesses, they may be only small but because this is such a short track, even finding one tenth makes a huge difference.”
