THE WORD FROM TIM

With the first Formula One race of the year getting underway at Albert Park today, the Supercars wrapped up their Melbourne 400 weekend with a short and sharp 70km race this afternoon.

“Overall it’s been a good weekend in Melbourne. I’m glad we found the issue with the front bar as it should put us back up where we need to be moving forward. It’s improved the car for the races, but with qualifying done so early in the weekend and such a short race today, it’s hard to move forward as much as we would have liked.”

“We take away some solid points from the weekend and the team have done a brilliant job, so its nice knowing we’ve got some good momentum early in the season. The Tasmania event will be here before we know it, it’s a super quick turnaround for the team to re-prep the cars and send them across the pond.”
