THE WORD FROM THE DRIVERS

 

TIM “To see where the co-drivers ended up in the first session of the day gave us a bit of confidence, Ash did a great job and had some positive feedback on the car. In my two practice sessions we went through some changes; made improvements and put some better tyres on there at the end. We were in and around the top ten which was good. It’s a nice change from where we were last round.”

 

ASH “The car felt really comfortable today, it was great to get in a heap of laps and get familiar with the car again. The co-driver session we had at Winton was pouring with rain, so essentially the last time I had a really good run in the car in dry conditions was at Gold Coast last year. Today was also my first time on the new Dunlop SuperSoft tyres. They gripped up really well in those first few laps and I found you can lean on them pretty hard, it was good to get a run on them and learn a little bit about them.”
